Stage I: confined to one lymph node or lymphoma, the regional lymph nodes. This is called early cancers.

Stage II: invasion of lymphoma have been two or more lymph nodes or lymphatic areas, but still the diaphragm or the lower side. This is called local spread.

Stage III: cancer cells spread on both sides of the diaphragm (upper side and lower side). This is called "extensive" spread period.

Phase IV: Lymphoma has been transferred to one or more of the body's organs, including bone, bone marrow, skin, liver and lung. This is called a wide range of metastatic carcinoma.
